Please see below document relating to the recent judgement on the case between the Bus & Coach Association and the Secretary of State for Transport which affects Community Transport Groups. In essence the BCA have been unsuccessful in their claim and no declaration has been issued. ATCO will continue to be involved in this issue, as there may be some work to be done by the DfT on clarifying the wording on this complex issue
Department for Transport have published a letter that explains the exemptions granted for home to school transport. All documents can be viewed by logging into the members area and looking in the Knowledge Centre.
Also available in the Knowledge Centre (access requires site membership) are three documents from the archives on Public Transport Information Good Practice, available to download for members. They do include the draft and consultation documents, the 2009 version appears to be the final document.
